KRNK ID Terms of Service

KuronekoServer (the Organization) sets out these conditions for using KRNK ID, its shared authentication, account linking and billing management service.

Article 1 (Scope and agreement)

These Terms apply to KRNK ID users. Review them before using the service. Minors must obtain a legal guardian’s consent and complete any other legally required procedures. Connected services also have their own terms.

Article 2 (Accounts and authentication)

Keep your registration details accurate and protect your email, password, passkeys and other sign-in information from use by others. Lending or transferring accounts, impersonation and unauthorized use of another person’s account are prohibited. If you notice misuse, sign out logged-in devices where possible and contact us. An external service outage or unlinking may prevent sign-in.

Article 3 (Connected services)

When you sign in to or link another service with KRNK ID, we send the profile, email and other details needed to recognize your account. Features using Discord server memberships may share your Discord ID and server details according to the connection you agreed to. Read the connection screen and the receiving service’s privacy policy. Unlinking does not automatically erase previously shared information or cancel paid contracts.

Article 4 (Purchases and payments)

Prices, taxes, payment methods, delivery, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions for purchases through KRNK ID are specified by the relevant service and checkout screen. Registering a payment method alone does not constitute agreement to a new purchase. Recurring charges renew under the conditions accepted when subscribing; cancel the relevant subscription when no longer needed. Unlinking an account or uninstalling an application does not cancel it. See our commercial transaction disclosure. Statutory user rights remain unaffected.

Article 5 (Prohibited conduct and restrictions)

Unauthorized access, bypassing sign-in safeguards, obtaining other people’s sign-in details, fraud, infringement, mass automated registrations, excessive load and support for antisocial forces are prohibited. Where reasonably justified by a violation or security issue, we may restrict sign-in, connections or purchases, or suspend accounts. Except in emergencies, we provide reasons and steps to resolve the issue and accept objections.

Article 6 (Leaving and data)

Contact support[at]krnk.org to discuss stopping use, closing your account or deletion (replace [at] with @). Deletion may prevent access to connected services. First save needed data, cancel contracts and change the person managing any services you share with others, where necessary. Records needed for legal, accounting or abuse investigations may remain for the necessary period after closure. See the KRNK ID Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Interruptions and responsibility)

Maintenance, failures, disasters and external service outages may interrupt the service. We do not guarantee perfect availability, security or fitness for a particular purpose. Planned material changes or closure will be announced with reasonable advance notice. Our liability is governed by applicable law; we do not exclude or limit liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or matters that cannot legally be excluded.

Article 8 (Changes, governing law and contact)

Japanese law governs these Terms. Amendments follow the Civil Code and other applicable laws; we announce their content and effective date in advance and obtain consent where required. The Saga District Court is the agreed court of first instance, without restricting other jurisdiction allowed by law or mandatory consumer rights.
